U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) ranking member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, recently spoke at a full committee hearing to examine the use of energy as a tool and a weapon, and ensuring energy security for the United States and its allies. Barrasso said President Biden inherited an energy dominant America and has spent the last year squandering it.

Barrasso said last year the U.S. imported nearly 700,000 barrels of Russian oil each and every day. Barrasso closed his remarks by saying America is the world’s energy superpower – it’s time once again we started acting like it.

How about the importance of rule of law, peaceful transition of power following a legitimate election, and elected officials that live their inaugural vow to protect the constitution against all enemies, domestic and foreign? If you and your Repub cronies acted with integrity and honor, rather than self-serving spin of all issues, you might be someone I’d consider worth listening to.

Which is 90,000 barrels a day less then we imported from Russia in 2020. How about we start putting a wind fall sales tax on your masters when they purposely reduce production so they can price gauge as they are doing now?

When will Biden end his oil sanctions against the American people? Lold a majority of people, I’m more concerned with the invasion of illegals at the southern border.

Senator Barrasso basically wants to use American resources to bail Europe out of their poor energy decisions. In return Americans will get higher energy prices and all of the pollution that goes with fossil fuels and the Germans will get to continue pretending windmills and solar panels will save the day while turning their noses up at realistic options like nuclear power.
