City Prepares for Budget Season

The City of Sheridan is a little over half way into their fiscal year, which runs from July 1 through June 30. Mayor Roger Miller says that preparations have already begun for crafting the City’s budget for the next fiscal year.

The budget resolution that was adopted by the Council last June included a general fund budget of approximately $12.7 million, and an overall total funds budget of over $47 million in expenditures.
