Commission Approves Terminal Lease Agreement

A lease agreement between Sheridan County and ROVAR, LLC d/b/a Avis Rent-a-Car and Budget Car Rentals for counter space in the airport terminal building has been approved by the county commission.

ROVAR will continue to lease the space in the terminal, according to Airport Manager John Stopka, who explained that this lease will run concurrent with a separate lease approved for the same company to occupy a tract of land inside the old business park at the airport.

Stopka said the rental fee for the agreement will be the greater of either an 8% concession fee or the base rental fee of $1,775 per month or $21,300 annually and that base will increase annually by 2% during the 10-year agreement.
