JCSD1 Board Approves Employment, Other Requests

The Johnson County School Board approved a number of items in their Consent Agenda at their meeting this week.

Employment requests, as well as Isolation reimbursement requests, and district policy revisions were all approved by the board.

Also approved was the sale of two district vehicles by sealed bid.

Employment Recommendations:

Brittany Scott, Special Education Para, Cloud Peak Elementary (replaces Kayla Strouf); Tamela Layher, SEE Para, Learning Center/Cloud Peak (new position); John Hepp, Asst. Boys Basketball Coach, Clear Creek Middle School (additional coach).

Resignations included Michael Clark, custodian, Buffalo High School (effective immediately); Michele Jones, Bus Driver, Kaycee Route (effective December 30, 2019); Danette Brinkerhoff, Asst. Volleyball Coach, Buffalo High School (effective immediately); and Arlene Roberts, Food Service, Meadowlark Elementary School (effective Jan. 17, 2020).
