JCHC Board Discusses Current COVID Issues

During their recent monthly meeting, the Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center discussed the current COVID status in the facility, which overall is good news.

Dr. Mark Schueler, President of the Board, gave a Chief of Staff Report for the absent Dr. Ryan Ludwig.

Schueler also said he was approached by a resident working in Sioux Falls, South Dakota who is about six months away from finishing training.

He told the resident that the facility is currently fully staffed but “things could change in a hurry,” and that it would be nice to meet him and show him the facility, to keep him in mind for a possible future opening.

The JCHC has had no recent major problems, according to Schueler.
