Start-Up Challenge Finalists- SonaPure

We continue our series today on the finalists for Impact 307’s Sheridan Start-Up Challenge entrepreneur competition. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Over the next several days leading up to next week’s Pitch Night, we’ll be highlighting the finalists for this year’s Sheridan Start-Up Challenge entrepreneur competition that is hosted by Impact 307, Sheridan’s business incubator. For the first time in its five-year history, the Sheridan Start-Up Challenge will feature six finalists vying for a chance to win business funding from the $100,000 seed fund that’s been established for the event. Austin Ledingham is a practicing orthodontist in Sheridan and has been developing a hearing protection system called SonaPure for dentists, hygienists and staff that focuses on quality, comfort and convenience.

Ledingham says the SonaPure is a hearing protection system that is specifically tailored to the needs of a dental professional.

Ledingham said the hearing protection attaches to personal protection equipment.

Along with access to the seed fund, each of the three winners at Pitch Night will receive $5,000. All six of the finalists will be eligible for the $1,000 ERA Carroll Realty audience choice award. Pitch Night will take place at 5:30 at the WYO Theater next Wednesday night. There will also be a live-stream of the event available on our website sheridanmedia.com.
