JCHC Board OKs Performance Improvement Plan

The Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center approved an Operational Performance Improvement Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2020 during their recent board meeting.
CEO Sean McCallister explained that the plan has been compiled with input from staff and will be a “fluid” plan that may change as needed.
Discussions at the meeting said it will give the facility a road map that will make it better and more successful.
A focus of the plan will be trying to reverse a high turnover rate in some positions at the healthcare center, according to McCallister.
McCaalister said over the next few months, discussions will be had to see about increased compensation and benefits that will help retain most of these entry-level positions in the facility.
