JCSD1 Board Approves WHSAA Participation Application
During their consent agenda portion of their meeting this week, the Johnson County School Board voted to approve the annual participation application to the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA).
Each year Kaycee, Buffalo High School and Clear Creek Middle School file activity enrollment participation numbers with the WHSAA.
According to the district’s meeting agenda, 510 students at Buffalo High School and Clear Creek Middle School will be covered for catastrophic insurance for a cost to the district of $3,570 for the school year.
Also in the application for BHS and CCMS, the district paid their School Classification amount of $1,100 and their Activities Amount of $2,245 for the various sports and activities the schools will be participating in for the 2021-22 school year, for a total of $3,345.
For Kaycee School the district paid $497 for insurance for 71 middle school and high school students, and $1,760 for classification and activities.
