Ron RichterCity of Sheridan Public Works Director Lane Thompson presented the City Council with a plan to proceed with a Design Build Contract for the construction of a pond at Malcolm Wallop Park in north Sheridan. Thompson gave an overview of allocated funds for the proposed project at a Council study session Monday night.
Thompson said staff is recommending a Design Build Contract for the project.
Thompson said to maximize the grants, the City must spend at least $680,000 on the pond as the grants come with a 100 percent match. The Council agreed to set a guaranteed maximum price for the project at $800,000.
