City Works Updates Buffalo Council on Projects

The Buffalo City Council heard an update from City Works Director Les Hook concerning the Fetterman and Flatiron Drive road projects and the wells and pipeline project.

Hook said the Fetterman project is nearing completion.

The Flatiron Drive Reconstruction Project is expected to get underway in the next couple of weeks, according to Hook.

Barnum Construction of Buffalo was awarded the $2.3 million project contract, which will pave Flatiron Drive and Flagstaff Way to Cinema Drive and installation of water and sewer lines and storm drains under those streets as well.

There will also be a second entrance into the subdivision via Cinema Drive when the project is complete, according to discussions at the meeting.

The project’s tentative completion date is July of 2022.

Hook also said the Buffalo Wells and Pipeline project is still under review with the Department of Environmental Quality.
