Pat BlairWyoming’s 2013 foreign language content and performance standards are up for review, and the Wyoming Department of Education is asking for public input on the standards.
Input collected on the foreign language standards will be shared with a foreign language standards review committee. The education department is also seeking those interested in serving on the review committee.
Those interested in serving on the committee can complete a Call for Participants Survey by May 28. According to a news release from the education department, completing a survey expresses interest in participating but doesn’t committee the respondent to serving on the review committee. Standards review committee members will be chosen based on diversity in experience, role, region and school size.
Those who want to submit comments on the standards can complete the education department’s Public Input Survey.
