Nurse Manager Trisha Thompson will be leaving the Johnson County Public Health Office in mid-April, after seven years here in Buffalo.

Thompson will be moving to Salt Lake City for active duty in the Army, and she explains what she will be doing.

She explained more about what her position is and what her responsibilities will be.

Thompson has spent 22 years in the National Guard and the Army Reserve, spending deployments stateside and in Iraq before finishing nursing school where she became a public health nurse in the Army Reserve before accepting the position in Buffalo seven years ago.

Thompson talked about the most difficult thing she has dealt with being a public health nurse in Johnson County, and we will have that in an upcoming story.
