Aaron PalmerJohnson County Healthcare Center Chief of Staff Dr. Ryan Ludwig, in his recent report to the board of trustees, said things are “going really well” at the facility.
He said in terms of COVID, things appear to be settling down a bit, with the recent changes in health orders from the state, which he said are welcome.
They have been seeing a lot less patient volume concerning COVID, with no positive cases in quite a while.
He said all of the staff at the healthcare center that wanted vaccinated have received it, but he would have liked to have seen higher numbers of staff opt for the vaccine.
There are changes in the works at the nursing home to determine which caregivers will be seeing which patients there.
He reported the clinic doing well, but they are working to determine if they are under or overstaffed in the clinic and adjust accordingly. It appears they may be slightly overstaffed at this point.
Overall, he said he had no major concerns with the facility.
