JCHC Sees Issue With SLIB Funding Reimbursement

At their regular meeting for February, Johnson County Healthcare Center CEO Sean McCallister reported to the hospital board that an issue came up with the reimbursement from the State Loan and Investments Board, or SLIB, concerning the COVID-19 projects.

He explained that SLIB denied nearly $600,000 of the $3.1 million the JCHC submitted to them due to issues with deadlines on the projects, and he explained further.

McCallister said he believes the risk is quite low that the JCHC will not get the remaining $600,000 in reimbursements.

He expects to hear from the SLIB this week as to when they will be getting the remaining reimbursement.
