One-Percent Applications Due by February 19th
Johnson County and the City of Buffalowill be awarding one-percent funds this spring, and those organizations interested in applying for a share of those funds need to complete their applications and submit them by February 19th.
One-percent funds come from additional sales tax revenue generated in the county and are typically allocated to outside organizations such as the St. Francis Animal Shelter, Buffalo Trails Board, and the Chamber of Commerce.
Applications need to be submitted to either the County Commissioners’ office or Buffalo City Hall before 5pm on February 19th.
Application guidelines are available at the commissioners’ office or on the county website.
