With complete but unofficial results, it appears that Rich Bridger will be Sheridan’s next mayor.

Bridger ran in opposition to incumbent Mayor Roger Miller, who has held the office since 2016. With all city precincts in, Bridger appeared to lead Miller by just over 1,000 votes.

Bridger is a member of Sheridan’s city council and a former member of the Sheridan County School District 2 board of trustees. Miller is the former owner of the Fly Shop of the Big Horns and a former police officer.

On Sheridan’s city council, apparent winners for the three seats were Kristin Jennings, Steven Brantz and Shawn Day.

In the Dayton council races, Lisa Hanson and Clifford Reed appeared the winners of the two four-year terms, and Christopher Bernard was apparent winner of the unexpired term.

Votes won’t be considered official until ballots are canvassed on Thursday.
