County PHO: County Needs to ‘Do Better’ Controlling COVID Spread
During the Johnson County Healthcare Center’s COVID-19 briefing with local media, Public Health Officer Dr. Mark Schueler was asked if he and other health officials, based on the recent increase in cases, should consider more restrictive measures to try to reduce those numbers.
Schueler said residents need to be more vigilant to curb the increase in case
numbers.
He said those in Johnson County have been fortunate and confident that the virus won’t bother us, and that has probably been naive.
