Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 11, 1920.
The power was off from 5:15 to 6 o’clock yesterday morning while repairs were being made at the light plant. Later in the day, the power failed at several intervals, but this was only for a brief period and no inconvenience was caused.
Attendance at Sheridan churches this morning was much heavier than usual. The explanation was made that the cool weather discouraged trips to the country.
The Crescent Cafe opened under new management today, drawing a large number of patrons for the event. A special chicken dinner was served.
Mrs. W. E. Eldred is entertaining guests at her ranch home at Banner.
