Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 7, 1920.

Major General Hunter J. Liggett, commander of the United States Ninth Army Corps, during a visit to Sheridan this week recommended that Fort MacKenzie can be made habitable at small expense.

Crowds attending the world series Cleveland-Brooklyn game on Brundage street in front of the Enterprise were larger today for the second big game of the series than for the first day. Traffic was blocked on the street during the noon hour.

W. S. Griffith, cashier of the Sheridan Banking Co., is moving from his home at the Freeman apartments to the residence he has purchased on Gladstone street.

Mrs. Fred Becker left this morning for an extended visit in Washington, Oregon and California.
