U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming spoke on the Senate floor Wednesday about how Senate Republicans intend to hold fair and timely hearings on President Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett.

Senator Barrasso said they have a job to do in the Senate, and that is to offer advice and consent, and that they will hold fair hearings and a timely floor vote on Judge Barrett’s nomination.

    This is a straight up lie from Barrasso and it is curious why there is no information about Barrett in this article. She literally said that her “legal career is but a means to an end … and that end is building the Kingdom of God.” Say goodbye to the separation of church and state.

    Agreed. I find it hard to believe the push of religious values in the name of religious freedom. Separation of church and state is a founding principle of our country. I’m having a difficult time believing anything Barrasso spouts. He seems to have learned well from his mentor, McConnell.
