Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 29, 1920.

An agricultural exhibit car of the C.B. and Q. railroad will be in Clearmont on Oct. 15 from 8 a.m. to noon. The car is traveling throughout the west for the benefit of better farming.

The Massacre Hill Ditch corporation has filed suit against the state highway commission seeking $1,000, claiming that during construction of the road in the area, rocks, gravel and refuse were piled on a pipeline in such quantities that the line was smashed.

Secretary W. D. Fisher of the Sheridan Commercial club is expected to return home today from Glacier Park, the northern terminus of the Custer Battlefield Hiway. Marking of the highway is now complete.
