Council OKs Mayor’s Appointment, Discusses Trail

During their recent meeting, Buffalo’s City Council approved the recommendation from Mayor Shane Schrader for Jennifer McCormick to be appointed to a three-year term on the Lodging Tax Joint Powers Board.

Also at the meeting, City Attorney Ben Kirven, during his report to the council, said he had been in discussions with the Buffalo Trails Board.

Mayor Schrader, in a separate interview, said the to-be-named trail is an addition to an existing trail, located west of the Mosier Gulch Day Use Area.

He said the Buffalo Trails Board is expected to bring a proposal for a trail name before the council for their approval.
