Resident Voices Concern With City Over Golf Course Water Issue

Published

on

A Buffalo resident spoke with the city council during their recent meeting to voice concerns over a recent incident at the Municipal Giolf Course where water had been turned off to the facility for an extended period of time.

Bryan Serres, who is a member of the Buffalo Golf Board, said he was there representing himself as an avid golfer and city resident, not as a board member.

Serres thanked the council for getting the water turned on, but he wanted to express concerns about how the water was turned off in the first place.

There were events during the week when the water was off, and Serres asked the council for the city to keep the golf course in the loop if and when the city needs to shut off water in the future, so steps can be taken to lessen the damage to the course.

No comment was offered by the council members.
