Arraignment Held for Man Charged With Sexual Assault of a Minor

An virtual arraignment hearing in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan was held recently for 49-year-old David Ingersoll. Ingersoll has been charged with Sexual Assault of a Minor in the Second Degree for an alleged incident that occurred in July of 2019. The victim was 15 years of age. Ingersoll appeared via video from the Sheridan County Detention Center and pleaded “not guilty” to the charge at the hearing. 

District Court Judge John Fenn set the three-day trial to begin on November 17. A pretrial conference was scheduled for October 20 at 9 am. The crime of Sexual Assault of a Minor in the Second Degree is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
