Rep. Connolly Says Veterans Home Remodel Funding Looks ‘Safe’

State Representative Marilyn Connolly has been updating Sheridan Media on the happenings at this year’s legislative session in Cheyenne.

Today she talks about the funding for a remodel at the Veterans Home of Wyoming in Buffalo.

Funding has been discussed over the last few years but has not been approved by lawmakers in the legislature.

She believes it may finally be approved this year.

As of Friday, HB0111 was sent to the Joint Appropriations Committee for debate.

The bill has a proposed total appropriation of just over $207 million, with $87 million earmarked for the Veterans Home of Wyoming.
