‘Operation Warp Speed’

U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming spoke on the Senate floor Wednesday about successful efforts to get Americans back to work. He also talked about Operation Warp Speed, an expedited public-private partnership between the U.S. government and private companies to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus.
Barrasso said that the project may deliver emergency vaccines as early as October, which would certainly be record breaking. He added that Operation Warp Speed partners want to beat this, and they want to make that their most ambitious goal. Beating timelines that have never been beaten before. Breaking the records.

Something warped is right…. I have voted republican for over 50 years but the party is so warped as to be unrecognizable by real republicans. It is so sad to see the party of Lincoln, Reagan, Eisenhower, Bush and yes even Nixon- bullied into submission by a name calling Tweeter. I am praying that the party will soon return to good judgement, fiscal responsibility and ethical behavior. The decay has been sad to watch. Color me an embarressed Republican.

I can hardly wait until a successful vaccine for COVID-19 is available for all who want it. The vaccine has the ability, especially for the elderly and persons with underlying conditions, to set them free to live life happily again.
