Pat BlairTwo Douglas residents were killed in a one-vehicle rollover south of Wright Tuesday night.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Paul E. Borring, was southbound on Wyoming Highway 59 when his vehicle, a 2002 GMC Yukon, went off the roadway and collided with a delineator post.
According to Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers called to the scene, Borring brought the vehicle back onto the road but overcorrected to the right, went off the roadway a second time and overturned.
Borring and a woman passenger, Teala Sherard, also 27, were not wearing seatbelts and both died of their injuries at the scene of the crash.
Also in the vehicle were two juvenile passengers. Both were properly restrained and were transported to the Campbell County Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
According to the highway patrol report, alcohol or drug use is being investigated as possible contributing factors.
