Candidates File for 2020 Primary Election

Friday was the deadline for candidates to file for the primary election in Wyoming.
In the local races in Johnson County, two candidates filed for the one open seat for a four-year term on the Johnson County Commission.
Incumbent Robert G. Perry and challenger Miles “Louie” Sickler.
Two seats are open for four-year terms on the Buffalo City Council.
Incumbent Richard “Scott” Madsen has filed to run again, and also running are
Zac Sexton and David Iverson.
For State Representative of House District 40, incumbent Richard L. Tass of Buffalo has filed to run again and will be challenged by fellow Republican Barry Crago, also of Buffalo.
No Democrat filed to run.
For State Senator for District 22, incumbent Dave Kinskey has filed to run.
No other challengers have filed.
