JCSD1 Board Approves Employment Report for April

The Johnson County School Board approved the employment report for the month of April at their recent meeting.

Approved were the recommendations of Jaxon Parker as Special Education Teacher at Cloud Peak Elementary replacing Lauren Williams; and Karen Zezas as a ⅝ time music teacher for the Kaycee K-12 School, replacing Jennifer Lompe, pending certification.

Resignations approved were April Waters-Berry, food service 1, CPES; Tom Schmid, CTE Teacher at Kaycee K-12 School; Ashley Kolb, High Needs Para at CPES, all effective end of 24-25 school year.

Camarae Archer, District Technician; Jerry Bellmyer, Head Boys Basketball Coach at Buffalo High School, all effective immediately.

And Taylor Koch, Special Ed. Para for Kaycee, effective May 22.

Also approved were the retirements of Pete Dahlberg, effective at the end of the 24-25 school year; and Rick Sanchez, effective June 30.

Non-Renewals are Sabina Damone, 9-12 Interventionist at BHS and New West High School due to the grant for the position no longer in place; and Marjorie Mantle, ½ time English teacher at BHS.
