JCSD1 Board Approves Preliminary Budget
The Johnson County School Board received and approved their Fiscal Year 2021 Preliminary Budget at their meeting earlier this month.
Wyoming’s school districts are required to present a preliminary budget to their boards prior to May 15th, and they are then subject to review prior to adoption by the boards in July.
JCSD1’s general fund expenditures for FY2021 are currently at just over $22 million, which is down slightly from 2020’s adopted budget of $22.2 million.
According to board documents, expenditures include $12.6 million in salaries; $5.4 million in benefits; $1.2 million in purchased services; and $1.7 million in supplies and materials.
