Small-business owners will have an opportunity to learn how to automate their companies through artificial intelligence (AI) Wednesday, Feb. 26.

Kellee Carroll will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar titled “Hands-On AI: Building Simple Tools to Automate Your Business” from 10-11:30 a.m. To register, go here.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

During the webinar, Carroll will demonstrate how to build a practical AI-powered lead filtering system that helps qualify inquiries and filter out spam with no coding required. Using popular tools that include Make.com and Airtable, attendees will learn how these platforms connect and work together to create powerful automations; and gain insights into the building blocks of AI automation that can be applied to streamline various aspects of your business.

This session builds on the concepts from the Jan. 22 “Using AI to Fill the Hiring Gap” webinar.

Carroll is a seasoned digital marketing strategist and business tech nerd who’s been transforming how Wyoming businesses operate for over eight years. As the founder of Prairie Giraffe, he specializes in making complex technology accessible and practical for business owners. This includes getting businesses’ messaging correct so that their websites convert; improving their search engine optimizations; or making sure a business’s online presence is up to snuff.
