Clear Creek Rec District Holds Valentine Dance

The Clear Creek Recreation District in Clearmont held their second annual Valentine Day Dance on Friday, Feb. 14. DJ Mike Guyer provided the music and the laser light show.

Amy Rowe, manager of the Rec District, talked about this year’s dance, and said that 30 people attended last year’s event.

Several Clearmont residents came to enjoy the music, as well a group of several artists who are working at the Ucross Foundation.

Jackie Vitale, chef at Ucross, talked about the artists that came down to the dance. This is the first group for the 2025 season.

There was a photo booth set up and a snack supper and drinks were provided courtesy of the CCR.

Rowe and talked about some events that are happening at the Clear Creek Recreation District.

She added that the fire that occurred in December only caused minimal damage to the building, and they have been open now for the past two weeks.
