JCSD1 Board Rejects Bid on Meadowlark Project

The Johnson County School Board has rejected a bid received for a project at Meadowlark Elementary School.

At this week’s school board meeting, the bid was brought before the board for consideration, with Facilities and Grounds Director Kim Glasgow recommending to not accept the bid, according to Board Chair Dave Belus.

The project, a replacement of the air handling unit at the school, received one lone bid from Powder River Heating & Air Conditioning for nearly $459,000.
