Since 2010, the U.S. President has dedicated the month of January to raise national awareness about human trafficking and educate the public about how to identify and prevent this crime, listed as a human atrocity by the United Nations, that generates $150 billion globally.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Uprising co-founder and Executive Director Terri Markham invited the community to Blacktooth Brewery for a bingo night supporting the education and awareness of the dangers and realities of human trafficking to Wyoming’s youth.

Uprising is such a wonderful organization! They’ve really helped some victims of trafficking in Wyoming! Yes, it really does happen here in our beautiful “safe” state, and it’s just getting worse with parents who don’t monitor what their kids are doing online! Please go to this event and support an amazing organization!
