Ron RichterSheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Administrator Robert Briggs recently provided an update to the Sheridan City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger at the Council’s most recent business meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority, or SEEDA, is a joint powers board that was created in 2007 and is a partnership between Sheridan College and the City of Sheridan. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs said that the fact that SEEDA is a joint powers board allows SEEDA to leverage state and local funds for economic development projects and assist with business recruitment and expansion.
We’ll hear more from Briggs in a future story on the development of phase two of the high-tech business park in north Sheridan.
