Aaron PalmerSheridan County’s Commissioners have accepted an agreement between the county and the Wyoming Department of Transportation for the 2025 Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) program.
The amount awarded by the federal government to the county will be just under $226,000 that will be coupled with a local match of roughly $56,500 for a total package for the program of slightly more than $282,100.
County Engineer Ken Muller explained that the amount awarded this year is up from just under $200,000 awarded in 2024.
