Aaron PalmerJohnson County’s Commissioners have approved a contract with a new company to provide a map server for the county.
According to County Planner Jim Waller, the current provider is retiring, and the county will need to hire a new company for those services.
He explained further during this week’s commission meeting.
Waller said this year’s bill for the map server will be $250 over last year’s cost, and he expects there to be modest increases in the annual cost moving forward.
After further discussion the commission voted to approve and accept the contract with Terra GIS for continued maintenance for the county’s map server.
