JCHC Board Discusses Current Construction Project

The Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center, during their regular meeting Wednesday night, discussed their current capital construction project, which is in its third and final phase.
Facility CEO Luke Senden said construction continues to be moving along well.
Senden said the construction project will be completed at the end of March of 2025.
According to discussion at an earlier meeting, Phase III, with a cost of roughly $4.5 million, is remodeling the Home Health/Hospice area, nurse station area, the Obstetrics area, and ICU area.
Additionally, it will open up space for future growth in the facility.
The total cost for all three phases of the construction project is roughly $20 million.
