Fairgrounds Rezone Up for Third and Final Reading

Third and final reading of an ordinance to rezone the Sheridan County Fairgrounds from an R-1 Residence District to a B-1 Business District will be considered by the Sheridan City Council at their regular business meeting Monday night. Sheridan County is requesting the rezone to allow for a commercial sized electronic messaging center sign, which is not currently allowed in the R-1 zone district. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger.

Mayor Bridger said that the elevator at City Hall will be inaccessible for the meeting due to maintenance.

The City Council will also be receiving a summer/fall tourism update from Sheridan County Travel and Tourism Executive Director Shawn Parker. The meeting will take place Monday at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
