Medicine Wheel Ranger District changes Greybull office hours

Due to staffing shortages, the Medicine Wheel Ranger District office in Greybull, Wyo., has had to schedule limited hours. 

The office is open for purchase of permits and regular business Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Tuesdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The office will not be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. Please call ahead of any visit to confirm availability. The phone number for the office is 307-765-4435. In a release the Forest Service wrote that they appreciate the patience and flexibility of the public as the agency works through these staffing issues. They will continue to evaluate options to meet the needs of their customers at this and every Forest Service location. For firewood, post and pole, and other permits, please note that the Sheridan and Buffalo offices remain open five days a week and can service your requests.
