The Wolf Creek Wrangle returns to the Eaton’s Ranch on Sept. 21, when patrons will be able to run or hike in a 5M, 7M, Half Marathon and 30K adventure trail run that is limited to 150 runners.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns Executive Director Christine Dieterich told listeners this is her favorite race because this run is for the adventurer, no matter the distance or pace.
Hosted at the renowned Eaton’s Ranch, this run will challenge even the most experienced of distance runners with all proceeds going to benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns.
Dietrich said this run is intended to be a challenge, even for the most advanced runners. The trails in which the runners will use at the Eaton’s Ranch, although scenic, are remote and usually only see cows, working dogs and visitors on horseback.
The race will be Saturday, Sept. 21. Registration prices will increase on Aug. 20. Dietrich said The Wolf Creek Wrangle is a true trail run with 95% of the race on unpaved roads.
