Rubber ducky was the one that made race time lots of fun.
More than 1,100 rubber ducks took over the Big Goose Creek, between the main entrance to Kendrick Park and the first pedestrian bridge near the playground and ice cream stand.
It was all part of the Sheridan Kiwanis Duck Derby race event.
Money raised from the event goes towards scholarships, the Sheridan Compass Center For Families and the Sheridan Food Group.
Although there were only supposed to be 3 winners, those who were at the finish line gathered up the first 5 ducks just in case and it turned out the original winner and 3rd place finisher were Kiwanis Members, so they were disqualified.
The winning ducks after the disqualifications were numbers 588, 638 and 186.
