Sheridan Rec. District is preparing for summer camp

Executive Director of the Sheridan Recreation District, Alexander Mock and Recreation Manager Zach Stewart made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss upcoming summer camps. 

Fresh Air Fridays offers an opportunity to get kids outside and walking on trails. Rock Climbing Camp is a specific camp that teaches kids how to take part in this outdoors sport based on their current skill level. Adventure Camp offers kids an assortment of different outdoor experiences.

Fresh Air Fridays operates five Fridays throughout the summer season. And registration for each camp is currently open, allowing parents and guardians an opportunity to plan ahead before the  school year.

To ease the cost on parents seeking day-care or for those wishing to keep their children active this summer, the Sheridan Rec. District has added a new program, day-camps.
