JCHC Mammography Machine ‘Fully Operational’

The mammography machine at the Johnson County Healthcare Center has been installed and is fully operational, according to facility CEO Sean McCallister, who updated the Hospital Board of Trustees at their last regular meeting.
McCallister explains more about the new equipment.
McCallister said the facility still needs to become accredited on 3D Mammography, which they will be working on.
A dedication ceremony and open house was originally planned for mid-April, but will be rescheduled for a later date due to coronavirus concerns.
The Hospital Foundation earlier this year approved $310,000 in funding to purchase and install the new 3D Mammography machine.
