Joey’s Fly Rods and Art Gallery Grand Opening Held Friday

Joey’s Fly Rods and Art Gallery store at 17 East Loucks Street was packed with patrons at the open house held on Friday, March 8.

There was a raffle, and several prizes from their sponsors.

Joey Puettman, founder and CEO, talked about his new business, Sheridan Fly Rod Company and Art Gallery

He will be offering fly rod building classes as well.

Puettman said that three of the youth that he worked with building fly rods are still building rods, and the proceeds are helping them pay for college. Rods from Joey’s Fly Rods will be available at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Sheridan, as well as statewide.

Joey will continue to host guided fly-fishing trips. He said he was thankful to be a part of the community, and he was happy to see the crowd at the grand opening.

    It was a great opening, with the community coming to support this new enterprise in Sheridan.
