JCHC Ops Mgr. Reports on New Employees

Johnson County Healthcare Center Director of Operations, Anna Carlson, gave an update on new staff members and related issues during their recent hospital board meeting.

Carlson said the facility’s new dietary manager Marisa Logan started her position the last week of February.

Logan has a wealth of experience in the food service industry, most recently owning and operating her own food truck in Sheridan.

Carlson said she is excited for Logan to bring her creativity and enthusiasm to the department.

She also discussed the numbers of new employees in recent months, touching on the facility’s new “Accelerated Staffing” program.

She also reported that the Amie Holt Care Center, which has had issues recruiting and retaining staff in recent months, is one CNA position away from being able to add residents in the care facility, which she called, “a huge victory” for the healthcare center.
