From Sketch to Finish at SAGE Community Arts

The upcoming class at SAGE Community Arts “From Sketch to Finish” will explore moving from sketches and photographs to fully developed larger, complete, finished paintings. 

SAGE Community Arts Executive Director Jill Benson stopped by Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss the goals of the class and invite Sheridan artists to take part.

The class will also focus on color theory, composition, enlarging images, and combining images as while progressing toward final resolve and detail.

Participants can use their usual painting set up. Limited supplies are available for an additional $35 supply fee.

This class will be taught by Buffalo artist and teacher Jenny Wuerker. She has taught art since 1992 and has an undergraduate degree from Yale University and a Master’s in Fine Art from The American University.
