Ron RichterAn ordinance to rezone property on Solutions Way in Sheridan received second reading approval by the Sheridan City Council at their recent meeting. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said the Northern Wyoming Community College District is requesting to rezone 3.45 acres at 1600 Solutions Way from B-2 to Higher Education.
Mercer said the property is the former Emit Manufacturing building and the College District would like to incorporate the parcel into their campus, which is located primarily west of I-90 but is expanding in accordance with the Sheridan College Facilities Master Plan. The proposed use of the property by Sheridan College is the future Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Sciences Center.
