The Wyoming Arts Council announces the 2024 Governor’s Arts Awards

The Wyoming Arts Council is inviting everyone to an evening celebrating the arts at the 2024 Governor’s Arts Awards.

According to the WAC, this in-person event will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in Cheyenne at the Little America Hotel and Resort.

At the Wyoming Governor’s Arts Awards, the WAC will honor outstanding individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the arts community across the Cowboy State. From painters to musicians, dancers to playwrights, this event recognizes the diverse talents that enrich Wyoming’s cultural landscape.

The 2023 Honorees:

Governor Mike and Jane Sullivan, Casper

Mary Jane Edwards, Banner

The Munsick Boys, Dayton

Milward Simpson, Cheyenne

Geoff O’Gara, Lander

The event promises to feature special performances and heartwarming speeches. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with renowned artists, art enthusiasts, and influential figures in the industry.

Cocktail attire is suggested and a cash bar will be available for those who choose to enjoy bar service.
