Ron RichterDetails of a request to rezone property on East 5th Street were presented to the Sheridan City Council at a study session Monday night. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said the applicant, Story House Property Company, LLC, is requesting to rezone 38.3 acres from B-2 Business District to a Planned Unit Development.
Mercer said the smallest residential lots are on the east side of the proposed subdivision, increasing in size towards the center of the subdivision to accommodate larger multi-unit projects. The City Council will be considering first reading of the ordinance to rezone the property at an upcoming business meeting.
